SkillPro Services Pty Ltd (SkillPro) provides solutions to technically based problems faced by mining companies, and where appropriate, other organisations in the resource industry chain.

Business in action

SkillPro has 3 fundamental business streams

A research and consulting stream which develops solutions to problems for individuals or like-minded consortiums. We specialise in problem-specific research, one-on-one consulting, technical training, "mentoring" during projects. Our major areas of expertise include;

• Explosion detection and protection
• Fire detection and suppression (including spontaneous combustion)
• People Risk and infrastructure management
• Diesel engine systems including unique emission control for mines

A product stream, which takes products developed by in-house or external research, and promotes/provides them to local customers. Products being sold locally and internationally, plus under development, include;

• Bagged barrier system for dust explosion protection in underground coal mines
• Portable diesel emission gas analysers
• Fenzy brand fire and self-rescue apparatus
• Re-useable active (auto triggered) dust explosion barriers for coal mines
• Electronic, diesel engine management control units

A service stream, which services equipment provided by SkillPro or others. Equipment being regularly serviced includes;

• Portable and fixed gas analysers used by mines, councils etc
• Self-contained and emergency breathing apparati used by miners, ship crews, fire services etc
